We woke up at 4:00 to finally find that it has been a raccoon cleaning out the bird feeders in the back and also most likely the culprit of the “poop.” We were glad to know what “it” was and “how” it was accomplishing the task – although it would have been awesome if our perp was something more interesting! But thank goodness it WAS NOT a bear! After the show concluded, we went back to bed until around 7:00. Our version of Ground Hog Day commenced with Carlo filling the feeders and me enjoying a cup of coffee. The rain from during the night has hindered all our outdoor activities since the grass and the trees and porch are soaked – but the sun is bright and hopefully will dry everything but by the time it does it will probably be too late for us to start anything. Just hope it’s not a humid or mosquito filled day! By 7:30 we were off for the Levee for a (hopefully not) colonic breakfast. We took a drive through town and stopped at Ace and Tractor Supply.

When we got back we did some little odd jobs for the afternoon, watched the caterpillars and turkeys, and then I watched my soaps and lazed around until dinner time. We decided to try a new place for dinner – Trail Lodge Supper Club…add it to the list!
When we returned all the exterior lights were on and the porch looked so inviting!
