A trip to Gilligan’s Island would have been an hour less than the trip time to O’Wich today! We did stop for breakfast and again for gas before, finally, pulling into the driveway.

A new visit and new things of note: a new bird nest on the porch (not for long); a fast growing flower bed; slow growing ferns; hummingbird feeder knocked to the ground; decorative shovel knocked down; trees not cut down (it’s been raining for several days); and all the feeders are empty!

I placed the plastic drawers in the bathroom; hung a fabric treatment on the porch; had a cup of coffee; Carlo started a fire and changed the water filter.

I watched OLTL and GH while Carlo went to pick up his sharpened chains and then we ran to the neighbors to deliver a very belated birthday gift of a flower basket to Betty.

We went to Norm’s for dinner, watched the O’Wich Wildlife Channel and by (my 24-hour mark) 7:30, I was off to bed!
