Woke to the news that my house has flooded. Packing to leave and as soon as the tree guys get situated, I will head home to greet what awaits me! I was able to snap a few photos before I left...it's hard to realize the size of this tree and the others around it; unless you notice the guy in the tree!


*** By Friday night (6/25) night, Carlo, the kids and me were enjoying a belated Father’s Day / Jackie’s Birthday celebration after everyone pitched in to tackle the flooded basement. Everything (repeat – everything) that was damaged from the sewer water was out in the alley and the basement was washed down with bleach. A huge thank you to everyone…Carlo, Jackie, Tom, Rick, Katie, Alex and Jax! Saturday was spent airing out the basement, doing some laundry and repacking to head back to O’Wich in the morning! Let the vacation commence!
