I woke up to calm cool breezes; sunny skies; crazy ass squirrels; and the O’Wich version of the WWF and the birds body slamming themselves into the patio door – ouch! Other than a few hanging branches and a few more on the ground, you’d never know that another storm came through during the night.
Goals for the day: Stain the front stairs / clean / cook an ear of corn.

By 6:00, all goals for the day were met and I even colored my hair! Steve stopped by for a visit and after he left I threw the ear cob out – no sooner did it hit the ground when I heard the rustling of leaves and something came from within the trees and snatched it up. That was freaky! It was another great vacation day!
