I am keeping an eye on this barn and silo. I love old barns. When we were in Michigan, we were watching a barn and took several photos of it. Then one day it was gone. I was glad we watched it - although it decayed. Now were watching this one!

We noticed the river was rather high and were very concerned about the road in to the cabin, as well as the cabin and our surrounding property. We arrived to a semi-flooded road – which means a lot of snow has melted. And driving around the huge puddles was fierce. The Chicago potholes have nothing on the O’Wich cavernous road.
Then there’s talk of the coming floods. We hope it doesn’t happen…hate to look for our cabin down river. Speaking of the river – yes, it was high!
We opened up the house and unloaded the truck. This is a regular occurrence. I don’t think we’ve ever – outside of the very first visit prior to buying – gone up with an empty vehicle. We sure seem to haul of lot of stuff. I think we need an addition!
We then headed off to pick up the loft stairs we ordered from Portage Lumber and for groceries from Pierce’s. We won a dollar on our frequent shopper scratch off card.
After getting things situated it was time for a burger and pizza from Tamarack. So glad we found this place. Here is a funny story – upon leaving the restaurant, I found out it would be my weekend of trips and a fall! Yep, I ran out of bench as I shimmied my way from the table and landed flat-a$$ on the floor. The “to-go” box didn’t open and even landed right side up! Only one person, other than Carlo, seemed to notice, but I refused eye contact after the first time! I dusted myself off and limped out to the Tahoe!
