The ('a') lone raccoon had a midnight snack which is the only time I noticed the light go on. It swung on the feeder for the few minutes I watched and then picked at the ground. It left before the light reset ~ which means it wasn't there long!
It stormed during the night and by 4:30 am everything was rain soaked ~ including the shrubs (yay) and the birds must think they're roosters! So now that I'm up...
I am once again enjoying the 'live music of the woods'. Throw in the sounds of the raindrops through the trees and you've got the most peaceful sound you could imagine. This beats any nature CD you may have listened to. I wish I knew what they were tweeting about - maybe something like..."As soon as she leaves we'll get those supplies delivered and get back to building the Avain Condos again!" But whatever it is, I'll just enjoy it until I do leave!
After closing up the cabin, loading the car and a quick stop at Walmart and Kwik Trip, I was on my way home. Although my visit was short and my To-do list is still long, there's no place like O'Wich...there's no place like O'Wich - in two short weeks I'll be clicking the heels of red clogs together, relaxing and chiming the verse again!
